Practical Myofascial for the Full Body CE

  • Oconee School of Therapeutic Massage 10 Simonton Bridge Road Watkinsville, GA, 30677 United States (map)

This course is designed for massage therapists who want to learn how to get started using myofascial release in their treatments. This training will give students an understanding of what fascia is, where it is in the body, and how, using show steady pressure, we can create a myofascial "release." We will look at the most current research in this field to help us understand the mechanisms that underly the tissue changes we feel. This course will explain the principles of myofascial release and will allow plenty of hands-on time to make sure students have good tissue engagement and are able to perform the techniques well. Myofascial shearing techniques will be shown for the back, neck, arms, and legs.
