Adrienne has been practicing massage therapy for over 15 years. She completed her initial training in deep tissue massage and spa therapies at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2009. In 2011, she returned to school to complete her 3000-hour Massage Therapy Diploma at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, and became a Registered Massage Therapist in BC, Canada. In 2015, she opened The Lymphatic and Massage Clinic of Vancouver, a clinic emphasizing manual lymph drainage treatment. She began teaching professional development and clinical practice at her alma mater In 2016, and continued teaching kinesiology, myology, and clinical massage theory and practice in Washington State before relocating to Northeast Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate, and a Childbirth Educator Certificate.
Since she began learning about the healing arts at the age of 20, Adrienne dreamed of opening a massage school that struck a balance between clinical treatment and holistic client care. She wanted to avoid boring lectures and memorization and instead ignite a passion in her students for the mysteries of the human body-mind. Oconee School of Therapeutic Massage is the culmination of that dream.
