This course is designed for massage therapists who want to learn how to effectively treat common pathologies of the hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Learn to assess and treat common conditions causing knee pain. What to do about hip replacement or knee replacement surgeries, how to treat shin splints and plantar fasciitis. Dynamic approaches will be taught including triggerpoint, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial and deep tissue techniques.

Instructor Bio:

Adrienne Permar, LMT, BSc. completed over 4000 hours of massage therapy training in British Columbia, Canada. After working in spas and clinics in Vancouver, Canada for several years, she opened The Lymphatic Massage Clinic of Vancouver, where she worked with primarily cancer and surgery patients. She began teaching massage therapy in Vancouver in 2016, before moving to Washington State, where she taught anatomy and orthopedic treatment at Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts. After relocating to Georgia, she founded Oconee School of Therapeutic Massage, where she directs entry-level education for massage therapists. She is excited to share high quality continuing education courses at an affordable cost for LMT's in Georgia.
