Do you want a framework for assessing and treating pain in clients? This hands-on class will provide information for decision making, assessment, and treatment of pain (chronic and acute pain. How can you tell nerve pain from trigger point referral? How to determine organ pain from herniated disc? Learn assessment and clinical reasoning skills in this class.

Instructor Bio:

Adrienne Permar, LMT, BSc. completed over 4000 hours of massage therapy training in British Columbia, Canada. After working in spas and clinics in Vancouver, Canada for several years, she opened The Lymphatic Massage Clinic of Vancouver, where she worked with primarily cancer and surgery patients. She began teaching massage therapy in Vancouver in 2016, before moving to Washington State, where she taught anatomy and orthopedic treatment at Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts. After relocating to Georgia, she founded Oconee School of Therapeutic Massage, where she directs entry-level education for massage therapists. She loves blending therapeutic effective treatment with relaxation techniques to provide balanced treatment. She is excited to share high quality continuing education courses at an affordable cost for LMT's in Georgia.
